The Food

We think that one of the world’s greatest creations is the sandwich, or sammich or sangerich. However you want to pronounce it, we think sandwiches are great! But it doesn’t end there, we also like to craft our own thin crust pizzas, toss some great salads and borrow recipes from a few other cultures to keep things interesting. It should also be known that we have some of the best culinary talent in our kitchen of all the kitchens in Peterborough, so keep an eye out for features and don’t forget we are open for brunch on weekends.

The Lambo | 21

Penne noodles in a classic Bolognese sauce, but we’ve made it with ground lamb instead of beef and topped it with smoked rosemary goat cheese. We also add some red wine sautéed mushrooms because they are so delicious!

Forest mushrooms and gluten free gnocchi in a bourbon cream sauce with caramelized onions, green pea tendrils, Grana Padano and prosciutto crisps.

It’s the weekend! You’ve been running like mad all week, so why not take the time to relax in the morning for a change? At the Ale House, Brando cooks a mean egg, so stop in, drink some coffee, read the paper and eat some delicious breakfast. You deserve it!

Don’t worry if the morning is not your thing, we run the breakfast menu until 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays and you also have the option of ordering from the main menu after 11am as well. So, please check out the menu and come on in for your weekend breakfast.
